Before installing the mechatronics, it is necessary to lock the rotating wheel of the gear lever position sensor:
- Turn the position sensor wheel so that the hole in the wheel is parallel to the hole in the upper plastic cover, see figure (A)

2. Insert a 4mm diameter drill into the hole and thus secure the wheel against displacement

3. Insert both new metal seals into the gearbox under the mechatronics

4. Move the gear selector to position D on the gearbox (if the gearbox is installed in the car and the rod with the selector lever is connected, just move the gear selector lever to position D)

5. Insert the mechatronics into the gearbox, screw in 2 Torx T25 screws (A in the figure) and a long external M10 screw (B in the figure)

6. Remove the locking drill and check with a flashlight whether the hole in the wheel has shifted relative to the hole in the plastic.
7. Insert the sensor connector as far as it will go.

8. Connect the mechatronics to the gearbox with 11 long screws (D)

9. Install the plastic mechatronics cover.

Before installing the cover, it is necessary to replace the rubber seal of the mechatronics cover.
