- Dismantling the plastic cover of the mechatronics — you need to unscrew 5 Torx T30 screws (2 on top and 3 on the bottom of the cover) and 5 M8 screws on the sides of the cover.

2. Disconnect the gear lever position sensor connector (A).


3. Loosen and remove the M10 screw securing the gear lever sensor – from above through the gearbox housing (B).

4. Loosen and remove 2x Torx T25 screws securing the gear lever position sensor (C).

5. Unscrew 11 long Torx 30 screws (7 on the left and 4 on the right – see the picture) (D).

6. Pry with a screwdriver in the place in the picture E and peel the mechatronics from the gearbox and then remove it.


ATTENTION !!!
When removing the mechatronics, check points 2 and 4 to make sure you have followed them + be careful that the plastic part of the mechatronics does not intersect with the gearbox casing – so that it can be easily removed with the entire mechatronics – so that the plastic part of the mechatronics does not break during disassembly.

If the mechatronics sensor is damaged, the repair cost will increase – the damaged part will need to be replaced with a new mechatronics.
